Black Dawn 2
It had been one month since Dominique had killed Marcus. The taste of his blood had been sweet, which was ironic coming from such a terrible man. She hadn’t thought of him much since that night, but now as she floated in this pool alone with her thoughts, he was all she could think of. Suddenly, however, Dominique was bought back into the here and now as she felt a sudden shift in the water. Dominique was no longer alone, she listened intently as whoever was in the water with her glided through the water. Their movements were subtle, but Dominique relaxed as she felt the gentle caress of a woman’s touch. She gracefully turned around to look into the eyes of a young woman named Aisha. Dominique had seen every inch of this woman, felt the electricity as she caressed her flesh. Aisha was beautiful, there was no other word for it. But her eyes? There were no words for them, Aisha tried to speak, but Dominique shushed her and passionately kissed her lips. The kiss was a fire in Dominique’s very soul. Slowly, Dominique made it down Aisha’s body planting kisses as she went, teasing her and driving them both to near frenzy. Dominique wanted to make love to her right here, but Aisha stopped her, and led her out of the pool. Normally, Dominique would take control. But this, letting Aisha lead? It was actually fun so Dominique played along.
“Mmm, where are you taking me?” Dominique whispered seductively before pulling Aisha close and kissing her neck
“Oh, and ruin the surprise? Not a chance.” Aisha said breathlessly
“You intrigue me immensely, Aisha.” Dominique growled
As the two women continued to walk, Dominique felt something odd in the air. There was another vampire here, someone older than she could fathom. Domonique scanned the area, but she assessed nothing. She didn’t see anything but she knew there were eyes on her. Dominique wished she knew what to look for, she felt obligated to protect Aisha and her husband as they wouldn’t have been with her had she not pursued them, had she not loved them. Now it seemed that she would have to protect them. Dominique watched Aisha, who was oblivious to all of this and for now, Dominique would keep it that way.
Aisha continued to lead Dominique through the hotel, until they had made it back to their room as they walked inside Dominique began to take in the atmosphere. All around there was red candles and rose petals. Dominique stood in the doorway watching Aisha move just as gracefully as she had in the pool, the young woman slowly disrobed and beckoned Dominique to follow her. Aisha led her along the path of petals to the hot tub in the hotel room. There, Aisha’s husband Dante waited. He was already nude, a Michelangelo sculpture made flesh, he was as beautiful as his wife. Together the couple descended on Dominique gently kissing and undressing her, Aisha playfully teased her moving her hands down her body caressing her nipples then gradually making her way lower until a gasp escaped Dominique’s lips as Aisha’s fingers entered her.
Dominique had no time to process this because Dante began to kiss her deeply. The eagerness of these two was overwhelming. But Dominique let herself get lost, it helped her get her mind off of whatever was watching her. They led her to the hot tub and it made Dominique pause, she smelled something familiar
“Is this blood?” Dominique asked intrigued
“Yes, tonight we wanted the real you.” Aisha said lowering herself into the tub
“What do you mean the real me?” Dominique asked
“We both know that you’ve been treating us like porcelain dolls, we want you to make love to us uninhibited.” Dante said, joining his wife
“I hold back because I don’t want to hurt either of you. But this, tonight, are you two asking me what I think you’re asking me?” Dominique gasped
“Yes, Dante and I have discussed it. We want you to make us like you.” Aisha said resolutely
“Like me? But why?” Dominique asked idlily placing her feet in the blood
“Because, you’re glamourous. We want to see the world the way you do.” Dante said caressing Dominique’s legs
“But I’m not glamorous all the time. I’m a monster, Dante. It takes me incredible restraint to keep myself composed around the two of you.” Dominique said breathlessly finding it more and more difficult to contain her hunger as she saw these two beautiful children drenched in blood
“Please, we want this, Dominique. You’ve shown us a world we thought was impossible. We can’t ever go back. Not now.” Aisha said, pleading with Dominiquew
“What you’re asking is no easy feat, to turn someone is the most intimate act a vampire can commit. I don’t do it lightly. But it would seem that even if I tell you no and leave tonight, you’ll try and find another vampire to turn you. At the very least you can trust me. Fine, I’ll turn you.” Dominique said relenting
“Thank you, Dominique. We’re ready.” Aisha said offering herself to the vampire
Dominique bit Aisha and drank deeply of her blood. She could feel her weakening as she collapsed into Dominique’s arms. It was simple, Dominique drank until Aisha was at death’s precipice then she gently laid her down and opened her wrist. Then Dominique let her blood flow freely into Aisha’s mouth. She bade Dante to drink from her as well. After they both drank their fill, Dominique laid them down and let her blood do its work. She needed to rest herself, giving so much of her blood left her spent. These were the first vampires she had made in a long time, not since she had been a young vampire herself. As she reflected on this, she felt the presence again. The other vampire was close, and Dominique truly didn’t have the energy for a confrontation
“Such decadence, I don’t know why my master would want dealings with a creature as debauched as you.” Came a haughty voice from the shadows
“Who are you? And why are you here?” Dominique asked breathlessly
“I am Amare, emissary to the great king Amar-Sin. My king demands your presence.” Amare said indignantly
“Oh, he demands me? And why should I care?” said Dominique
slowly regaining her strength
“My master has seen a great prophecy involving you, he would like to discuss it in person.” Amare said testily
“So, what are you jealous or something? Or are you always a raging bitch?” Dominique asked smugly grabbing a nearby wine glass and filling it in the hot tub
“I have existed for thousands of years, and I’ve killed double that in vampires, you’ll be nothing but a smear beneath my feet if I so wish it.” Amare said angrily
“You’ve existed for thousands of years and your master still doesn’t see anything more in you than an attack dog. That’s not something I would be proud to admit. But hey you do you, Fido.” Dominique said mockingly sipping some of the blood.
“I can’t wait until you fail his test, then I can kill you too.” Amare growled
“Oh no, a threat. Hopefully that means you’ll be leaving.” Dominique said sarcastically
“Cross the desert, you will find a kingdom on the sands.” Amare said vanishing into the shadows
Dominique was glad to be rid of Amare. She was an annoying woman, but at the very least with her gone Aisha and Dante would be safe. Dominique was Intrigued by the prospect of meeting this king. Was he a true king? Was he a true ancient? To think, a month ago Dominique was pretending to be an actor and now she was on the precipice of taking The Pilgrimage. Many vampires sought out the ancients, they rarely succeeded. Maybe Dominique could do it, she always talked about wanting to see vampires united and if she completed the pilgrimage there would be none that could challenge her power or her right to rule, it was an intriguing concept to be sure. For now, however, these thoughts would have to wait. Her companions were waking up to their new life.
The first thing Aisha felt was the thirst, she was thirstier than she had ever been. She quickly submerged herself in the tub of blood letting it envelop her nude body and greedily lapping up any that got into her mouth. As she rose up out of the tub, she found Dante waiting for her, he began hungrily licking blood off of her. As Dominique watched the two of them explore themselves, she forgot about Amare and The Pilgrimage, instead she joined Aisha and Dante and she gave the two of them what they wanted. They made love unabated as vampires. It felt good for Dominique to not have to hold back as she made love to Dante and Aisha, they were at it all night. Then when they were finished exploring each other, they collapsed in a tangled heap, sticky with sweat and blood. The three lovers fell asleep in each other’s arms. It was peaceful.
Before long a week had passed, a week of debauched sex and bloodletting. Where once only the hot tub had been filled with blood, now the entire room looked like a crime scene and there were several new corpses strewn about. They were criminals and wouldn’t be missed. The also offered up an opportunity for Dante and Aisha to learn how to feed properly.
After giving Aisha and Dante the basics of being a vampire, Dominique decided it was time for her to leave. Her urge to meet this Amar-Sin person had been gradually building like a fever pitch ever since she had met Amare. Further, it was time for her to leave Dante and Aisha behind. All vampires went through this, it was time for them to learn to walk on their own. Maybe she would see them again. Dominique got up from the bed and got in the shower, as the hot water beat over her, she thought about her life, on all of the people she had loved before Aisha and Dante. There had only ever been one she had wanted to embrace.
Dominique had been with her for decades, thinking of her bought tears of sadness to Dominique’s eyes. Before she lost herself to grief, Dominique buried her emotions. She quickly got dressed and got ready to leave. Dominique put a hand on the door and prepared to walk out, before she did, she offered one last look to Aisha and Dante’s sleeping forms, for a second she wanted to get back in bed with them. She wanted to, but Dominique knew it was time to move on for all three of them. The Pilgrimage called to her, and Dominique set off.
